Paul Pogba, the Manchester United midfielder, is on the verge of becoming a free agent, according to reports. The Frenchman’s contract at Old Trafford expires next summer, and with no indication of an extension, fans are forced to wonder about the 2018 World Cup winner’s long-term future.

The latest twist in the saga comes from super-agent Mino Raiola, who recently revealed that his famous client may return to the previous club Juventus next summer. Pogba, 28, has had a great start to the current 2021-22 season, assisting on seven goals in his first four Premier League games.

Despite having double-digit direct goal contributions in his sights, the 28-year-long-term old’s future is still up in the air, and Raiola has done nothing to alleviate the constant conjecture.

When asked about Pogba’s future, the super-agent recently spoke to RaiSport, with the words recorded by Corriere Dello Sport, and stated that “Pogba’s contract expires next year. We will talk to Manchester and see.”

“For sure Turin has remained in his heart and he cares a lot about these things. The possibility of returning to Juventus is there but it also depends on Juve…”

Pogba has played in 211 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions since his re-signing in 2016, directly contributing to an astounding 87 goals.
