Panic over the Minecraft Netflix series is officially over. Despite rumors of a quiet cancellation following a missing showcase, Mojang confirms the project is very much alive. Production with WildBrain Studios remains steady, though a 2027 or 2028 release is the current target. Expect the cinematic sequel to hit theaters first, while the animated block-world saga continues its development behind the scenes.
