An eBay seller is spotted using Microsoft Surface Pro 8 on the website. Seeing the new one, we can say Microsoft decided to keep the same look as its predecessor, but some upgrades are on the inside.
The eBay seller ‘zzaj300n’ having a 100 percent positive rating, gave a description of Surface Pro 8.
“Yes, you read the title right. Up for sale is a Surface Pro 8 engineering model; it has ES version of 11th gen i7-1165G7 processor, 32GB ram at 4267Mhz (Pro 7 maxed out at 16GB), and 1TB Samsung SSD. Perfectly working, but as it is unreleased, do backup driver yourself before restoring; otherwise, you cannot find it online. Come with a blue type cover.”
Surface Pro 8 offers an Intel Core i7-1165G7 in its processing unit. If we see the memory slot of Surface Pro 7, there was non-upgradable LPDDR4x RAM of 16GB, so it’s great to see 32GB RAM in the upcoming Windows 10 slate. It’s not yet confirmed that Microsoft will use the LPDDR4x or LPDDR5 RAM in the new variant of Surface Pro.
Intel’s integrated GPUs had a good impact in the past years, but now Intel claims that its Iris Xe iGPU is more capable than the Intel HD. Let’s see if this new Microsoft product can give a light-gaming experience to the users or not.
Surface Pro 7 was famous for its light-weight and extremely portable. If we see the design, there is no big difference between the two variants, and the new variant also offers a 12.3-inch display, USB-C port, and a Samsung SSD. But it’s quite hard to compete with the other brands having similar specifications when you have a $1,300 price tag. Let’s see what Microsoft will do for the customers.
