Microsoft Surface Duo price and specification are announced today and the sale will start on September 10. The phone is a foldable one and is priced at $1,399 (approx Rs.1,04,999), yes that’s expensive. The Surface Duo will be available in the US across T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. The international availability of the phone has not been revealed.
Specification of Microsoft Surface Duo
Surface Duo features two 5.6-inch OLED (1,350×1,800 pixels) displays with 4:3 aspect ratio that when unfolded provide an 8.1-inch PixelSense Fusion display with 2,700 x 1,800 pixels resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio.
The phone has a single 11MP camera sensor present on top of the right display alongside the LED flash. It can be used for both taking selfies and has 7x digital zoom. This camera is also capable of recording video in 4K at up to 60fps and comes with EIS.
Surface Duo features last year’s octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Surface Duo runs on Android 10. The phone is powered by a dual-cell battery that combines to a total capacity of 3,577mAh.
The phone does not support 5G but will come 4G connectivity. The main feature previously mentioned as “app group” is the key feature of this phone, as it allows us to multitask on both the screens.
