Microsoft has released some new features for Edge that are intended to improve productivity and organization. The company claims that its mission is to give you cutting-edge innovations that will let you unleash your creativity and productivity.
Bing Image Creator, powered by DALLE models from ChatGPT, was just released by Microsoft. The Image Creator is now accessible to Edge users everywhere on the desktop. Users of this tool can quickly locate a specific image for use in social media or presentations.
Users can choose from four different image options and enter a prompt in the Image Creator, which is accessible from the sidebar on the right of the Edge browser. Users can download and add an image to a document or post it to social media after choosing one. By clicking the “+” icon and turning on the toggle key for Image Creator in the Edge sidebar, users can enable the Image Creator in Microsoft Edge.
In Microsoft Edge, a brand-new function called “Drop” enables users to share and access content from all of their devices at once. Users can share notes, other file types, and photos with one another using this feature.
For instance, if a user finds a recipe while at work, they can simply copy it, use Drop to send it to their phone, and then quickly access it when they go grocery shopping. Users can add content to Drop by dragging it and dropping it, or by clicking the icon in the sidebar.
Edge now has a new feature from Microsoft that enables users to edit and save web images without using any additional programs or tools.
Instead of closing the browser window, users can now right-click on web images to crop, change the lighting and color, and add filters. An image can also be started being edited by the user by hovering over it and choosing “edit image” from the menu. Users can now create visuals for presentations and other uses without having to download, save, and edit images in a different app on their PC or macOS device.
Microsoft has made new improvements to the Efficiency Mode feature, which boosts battery life and gives users more control over how much power is used by their devices. With the most recent update, Efficiency Mode activates power-saving features when the laptop detects a low battery, whether or not the user is interacting with the browser.
Users have a variety of options to choose from to extend battery life. The Maximum Savings setting conserves more energy but may have an impact on browser performance, while the Balanced setting helps conserve energy while offering a good browsing experience. When the appliance is plugged in, this feature also aids in power conservation.
