Microsoft modifies its Office 365 as Microsoft 365 last month. Along with the new name, they also introduced new AI features, rich content, and templates to their tools. The main motive was to reduce the time users spend on their products finding how to do. As per them, life and work time shouldn’t interrupt each other.
Microsoft 365 brings its new plans with benefits in India for both home and business purposes. The plans started from ₹420 and ₹125 monthly for home and business respectively.
>> For HOME
For home purposes, Microsoft brings mainly two plans. One is “Microsoft 365 Personal” for a single person and the other one is “Microsoft 365 Family” for entire family members(up to 6 members). Only the pricing and user count changes if you compare these two plans. All other benefits are the same.
Benefits included in these two plans are –
- premium formats of Office Tools i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access(PC), and Publisher(PC)
- 1TB OneDrive Storage for each account
The AI features, advanced cloud security, OS platform freedom (usability in macOS, Windows, and Android), and technical support access of all Microsoft tolls will be enabled for these plan users.

Rather than these two, an “Office Home & Student 2019” is also there worth ₹7,799. This is a one-time payment plan and includes only the classic version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint access.

Microsoft presented three business plans, Basic, Standard, and Premium. The basic users can access the Office Tools i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, and Access only in web format. In the premium plan, the Intune and Azure Information Protection are extra. All other services like Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams are the same. Standard and Premium plan subscribers can install the Office Apps on up to 5 computers (Windows & macOS both combined).
Rather than the tools accessibility, some extra services like Advance threat protection, etc will vary as per the plans.
