In spite of numerous cancellation reports, Intel has declared that Meteor Lake CPUs will be available for its desktop platform in 2024. The announcement that Meteor Lake CPUs will be available in 2024 was made in an interview with PCWorld by Intel’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Client Computing Group.

After numerous reports and leaks suggested that the new CPU family was shelved and the chipmaker would instead concentrate on Arrow Lake for its desktop CPU lineup, it appears like Meteor Lake CPUs are once again on the table to see the light of day on desktop PCs.

Michelle actually stating that the product lineup is coming to desktop PCs is a big deal because Intel Meteor Lake CPUs are very much a CCG processor.

This also gives us a fresh look at how Intel will launch its next-generation CPU architecture in 2024, which may have not one, but two different product lines.

We can anticipate the introduction of the new desktop components by CES 2024, which would be less than a month after the mobile launch of Meteor Lake CPUs. The 1st Gen Core Ultra Meteor Lake CPUs will clearly be arriving to mobile platforms such as the previously unveiled laptops first starting on the 14th of December.
