Lionel Messi has been talking about Neymar and Lautaro Martinez off late to make it pretty clear he would be happy to see both of the forwards playing for Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
Messi has been clinging on Neymar since he left Barca after that record deal and after a desperate attempt to bring the Brazilian back to Camp Nou last summer, and affording the deal is very hard for Barcelona after the record signings of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.
Messi still looks forward on playing with him once again and give him the responsibility of the Barcelona attack in the near future.
Another huge prospect for Barcelona is the 22-year-old Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez who Messi loves playing within the Argentina National team.
Both Messi and the Barcelona board are keen on signing both the players but might end up affording one of them in the summer transfer. If they somehow manage to get rid of Philippe Coutinho and some other players they somehow might make “the dream” come true but a question remains – Does Barcelona need so many forward signings?
Barcelona did face a hard time in defence and keep clean sheets throughout the competition with the ageing Pique and Busquets in the defensive duties. It will interesting to see how Barcelona board acts to fulfil its skipper’s dreams in the coming season.
