Messi unhappy with Barcelona again; Koeman to be SACKED if Barcelona get knocked out by PSG

Was not selling Lionel Messi the perfect move for FC Barcelona?

After Barcelona’s humiliating defeat to PSG in the Champions League, Messi’s final decision about his future could be one that fans won’t want to hear since he is not happy with things at the club.

Barcelona Presidential Candidate Joan Laporta said that Messi is not only looking for a big contract but also wants to win, most importantly. He is tired of such outrageous exits from European competition, with the ghosts of Roma, Liverpool and Bayern still haunting the Blaugrana, with PSG ominously waiting to be conjured.

The Argentinian wants to win, and that was the reason why he sent the burofax to Barcelona requesting a transfer. He lost faith in the club and realised he can’t win the coveted Champions League with the team that Barcelona have now.

Seeing a natural born winner like him like this is sad for football fans. The terrible feeling around him is that he wants to prove himself in a great team. He wants to play with top players. It’s not just about him performing, but about the team too. And the Champions League takes top priority.

With the Presidential elections coming up in March, the project at Barcelona is very important not only to fans who want a clear picture, but also to Lionel Messi for him to take a decision on his future at the club.

Moreover, speaking on the Here We Go podcast on Patreon, Fabrizio Romano stated that Ronald Koeman could be sacked if Barca lose against PSG which, all things considered, is more likely to happen than not.
