Messi reveals the difference between MSN and MNM

Lionel Messi joined PSG this summer as a free agent from Barcelona. The Argentinian has had a slow start to life in France and is currently playing alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The forward previously starred with Neymar as part of the famous MSN trio at Barcelona, which also included Luis Suarez. Messi and Neymar have since been reunited, but the results have not quite been as good as they hoped it would be.

In a recent interview, Messi spoke about the biggest difference between the current trio at PSG and the one that was held in such high regard at Barcelona.

Messi meets Mbappe; French star welcomes the Argentine to Paris

“Age is the difference! We were young when we started playing with Ney,” Messi replied when asked by France Football in comments carried by Diario AS. “Today the young man is Kylian. Luis and Kylian are very different players. Luis is a pure nine, an efficient forward in the area who’s used to scoring many goals. Kylian likes to touch the ball more. He’s a very powerful and fast player who kills you if you give him space, and also scores a lot. They’re two spectacular players, but with very different qualities.”

Mbappe is currently 22, while Neymar is in his physical prime and Messi is in his mid-30s. Mbappe has been converted into a striker after he started out as a winger, and the point singled out by Messi is the main difference between MSN and MNM.
