After the 8-2 humiliating defeat against Bayern Munich, Barcelona has gone through a lot of changes. Quique Setien has been removed and replaced by former Barcelona player Ronald Koeman. Koeman was the manager of the Netherlands team before joining the Barcelona camp.

The Netherlands failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup but within 1 year Koeman had built a group of quality players who went all the way to the final of the 2019 UEFA Nations League. He knows the current group of Netherlands player very well and is planning to bring some of them to Camp Nou.

According to sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano Memphis Depay has agreed on personal terms with Barcelona. The only thing left is that Barcelona need to negotiate a transfer fee with Lyon.

Barcelona veteran Luis Suarez is on his way out this summer. Inter’s Lautaro Martinez was also targeted by Barcelona but they failed to sign him. So they are now set to sign Memphis Depay.

Another Netherlands’ player is also set to join Camp Nou. Barcelona are interested in Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum. Koeman is hoping to bring his national team’s talents to Barcelona to recreate the same success at Camp Nou next season.
