Meizu is preparing to launch Meizu 18 series next week. We expect the 18 series to come with two smartphones: Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro. The Zhuhai-based company has revealed that the new series will launch on 3rd March 2021. Meizu revealed the teaser of these two new handsets on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website. Recently, Meizu shared two more photos related to the smartphones which tell us about its features a bit more.
After the recent teaser, we think that the Meizu 18 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest mobile chipset, Snapdragon 888 SoC. In comparison, the base variant of this series is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset. Another big news which we can expect from the house of the Chinese manufacturer is the feature of “OneMind 8XX”.
OneMind is a platform that helps in utilizing Artificial intelligence to make intelligent decisions. It has three basic purposes: analysis, decision making, and evolution. These two are big updates from the Chinese company but apart from this, not much is known about the two handsets.

One thing which is confirmed that the Meizu 18 Pro variant will have a 6.2-inch curved display which will come with a 2K resolution. The base variant of this series is expected to have a similar display with a punch-hole selfie camera on the front. The series will be coming with the Flyme 9 Operation system which is a different type of OS as it focuses on privacy and user data security. The official unveiling of this series will be on the 3rd of March 2021. So, let’s wait till then and see what more it has on store for us.
