MediaTek joins hands with VVDN, an Indian Technology firm, to develop AIoT Solutions

MediaTek Reveals "Helio A" Series Processors

If you have a bit idea about smartphone SoCs, then surely know about MediaTek. This Taiwan based chip-maker now joins hands with Indian tech firm VVDN Technologies to serve us new and improved MediaTek AIoT solutions which can be implemented to the homes and offices in our country. The fruits of this tie will start rolling out in India in the last quarter of 2020.

As per MediaTek’s official statement, both MediaTek and VVDN will be working closely to design, develop, and build innovative and new-age AIoT solutions. The list includes solutions for cameras, home automation, and voice assistant devices like smart speakers. The company also added that through this partnership it is keeping its commitment to ‘Make in India’ along with supporting ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

Vivek Bansal, the President Engineering and Co-Founder of VVDN Technologies said, “VVDN’s collaboration with MediaTek will enable us to work together on innovative and cost-effective smart devices at our Global Innovation Park (GIP) manufacturing hub in Manesar which houses an elaborate R&D, design, engineering and electronic Manufacturing Facility. We look forward to a long and successful alliance with MediaTek,”

Alongside, Anku Jain, the Managing Director of MediaTek India said, “India remains a key growth market for us, both in terms of business value proposition and talent pool. We are keen to enable the ’Make in India’ narrative by collaborating with indigenous device makers like VVDN Technologies to create smart solutions in India, targeted at both Indian and global consumers,”

MediaTek again shows its support to India to enable a smart device ecosystem and also boost the 5G capabilities.
