MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ Set for May 7 Announcement

During the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference 2024, MediaTek announced the imminent launch of the Dimensity 9300+ in China. It is an upgrade of its sequential predecessor, the Dimensity 9300, and will be released in China on May 7, 2024. At its annual conference, MediaTek plans to disclose its AI Strategy and Vision, Generative AI app ecosystem, gaming improvements, and more.

The Upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9300+

Regarding reports, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ is expected to include 1x ARM Cortex-X4 performance core clocked at 3.4Ghz, 3 performance cores clocked at ARM Cortex-X4 cores, and 3 x 2.85GHz, and 4 x Cortex-A720 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz. This clock speeds marginally from 3.25GHz to 3.4GHz.

The Geekbench leaks disclosed single-core and multi-core scores of 2229 and 7526, respectively. As a result, the Dimensity 9300+ may run in the anticipated vivo X100S that is expected to be launched in China in May. The upcoming smartphone may also boast a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED straight screen, a flat metal frame, a glass rear, and 120W fast-dash charging support.

The SoC was housed in the Vivo X90s, Vivo S18 Pro, iQOO Neo 8 Pro, and the Redmi K60 Ultra as of last year. Also, the leak revealed that even more devices powered by the new SoC would be announced after the official event scheduled to occur in less than a week. In China, MediaTek announced the launch of Dimensity 9300+ as a successor of Dimensity 9300 during the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference on May 7th, 2024. The company will also disclose its AI Strategy and Vision, generative AI application ecosystem, gaming experience, and many more.

According to earlier reports, the SoC will include 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 performance core 3.4GHz, 3 x performance core ARM Cortex-X4 cores clocked in a lower 2.85GHz, and 4 X Cortex-A720 efficiency cores set at 2.0GHz revealing a slight clock speed increase from 3.25GHz to 3.4GHz. The Geekbench leak revealed, 2229 single-core and mutli-core scores of 7529. Reports claim that the chip will power the Vivo X100S smartphone that is scheduled to launch in China in May. The phone will have a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED straight screen, flat metal frame, glass back, and a 120W fast charger.
