Under Inzaghi’s management Lazio managed to finish 6th and will be participating in Europa League this season.

Maurizio Sarri had begun his managerial career with Italy’s lower divisions back in 1990 and since then he has fought his way up to the first division.

Before starting his managerial career Sarri was previously a semi-professional footballer and after that, he was a banker.

Maurizio Sarri brings a lot of experience with him into the side, in the 2016/17 season while coaching Napoli Sarri was named the Serie A Coach of the year.

Sarri’s style of football is famous across Europe also known as Sarriball which basically possession dominated attacking style football.

Maurizio Sarri has managed a few heavyweights of Europe in his career, starting from Napoli to Juventus in Italy and also current Champions League winner Chelsea in the 2018-2019 season.

While in Chelsea Sarri had won the Europa League with the team and he also won the Serie A with Juventus in the 2019/20 season.

Maurizio Sarri’s performance this season will be watched closely by Lazio fans hoping he would bring Champions League football back to the club.
