PSG are set to part ways with Mauricio Pochettino in the coming days, with only one final meeting remaining between the coach and president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. The meeting between the two will take place once the PSG president has returned to the city.

Although Pochettino was able to help PSG win the Ligue 1 title this past season, it was a much different story in the Champions League. The sensational second half hat-trick from Karim Benzema ended all hopes of the French side progressing to the Round of 16. Los Blancos went on to win the tournament, defeating Liverpool in the final once again.

Sporting director Leonardo is set to be replaced by Luis Campos, one of the most highly rated project managers in Europe. And this is a very smart move by the board in terms of their squad planning.

Roma manager Jose Mourinho has emerged as one of the potential names to replace Mauricio Pochettino at PSG. He recently won the Europa Conference League with the Giallorossi and will be discussing his future with them this summer.

An offer to work with one of the best squads in Europe and play in the Champions League might be too good to turn down for the two-time UCL winner. But, he has not agreed to anything with the Ligue 1 champions just yet.

Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has also been rumoured as a possible option. He has been out of a job since leaving Madrid, and could make his return to management with the Ligue 1 side.
