# Mason Mount appoints new agent to negotiate Chelsea exit in June 2023

Mason Mount has appointed a new agent, Nick Fewings from Roof, to help negotiate his exit from [Chelsea](https://technosports.co.in/christopher-nkunku-to-chelsea-not-in-doubt/). The player has demanded a salary in the region of £200,000 from Chelsea, but the board has been unwilling to meet his expectations. 

As a result, he is very likely to leave the club in the summer according to Fabrizio Romano. With only one year remaining on his current deal, Chelsea will want to recoup a transfer fee for him upwards of £50 million. Otherwise, they risk losing him for free next summer.

Until recently, the midfielder was one of the most important names for the Blues. He was also named their player of the season on multiple occasions. But, things have gone south for him very quickly and he is now expected to be on his way out. 

Poor form has been one of the reasons why Mason Mount has been dropped from the starting line-up by Graham Potter. On the other hand, [minor injuries](https://twitter.com/CFCBlues_com/status/1636741225905528832?s=20) have also prevented him from participating in the matchday squads in the last few weeks. 

Mount was recently managed by his father, Tony. But after being unable to renew a contract with Chelsea, a specialist has been appointed to negotiate his exit from the club. The likes of Manchester United and Liverpool have been closely linked with his signature in recent weeks. 

However, no advancements have been made for him by any club as of yet.
