Mason Greenwood T-shirts can be exchanged by fans at Manchester United megastore

Manchester United fans will be able to exchange their Mason Greenwood replica T-shirts for free at the Old Trafford megastore. They will receive a jersey with other players’ names on the back, as a replacement. 

The Manchester United forward has been arrested following allegations of sexual assault, rape and threats to kill. Audiovisuals and images of the victim have circulated through the internet, leading to the arrest of the player. 

Mason Greenwood out on bail after three nights in prison 

The 20-year-old has been released on bail after three nights behind bars. He was interviewed for hours by the police before being released as well. 

The club has removed all merchandise related to him from their online store. They have also released a statement confirming that Mason Greenwood will not be training or playing with the team for the foreseeable future.

Nike have suspended their sponsorship deal with Mason Greenwood, while Cadbury have also taken steps to remove him from all advertising. The player has also disappeared from FIFA 22 in recent days, after his arrest. 

Two private security guards are now stated outside his mansion, keeping a strict vigil. He has also installed additional security cameras outside his home. 

Players and staff at the club are shocked at the revelations over the weekend. A number of Manchester United players have also unfollowed the player on social media. Greenwood’s career for club and country now seems to be in jeopardy, after allegations that arose over the weekend.
