Marvel Rivals to Add Fantastic Four to Playable Roster on January 10

The Marvel Rivals just hit the market last month and in the short span of time itself it has shown in speedily expanding player base as every-versions of it like the Steam version, and consoles, collectively crossed the 20 million players mark. It also reached high placements on the player rankings of the U.S. during the final week of the year, a good sign of strong future success for the game. The roster includes a slew of fan-favorite Marvel heroes and villains, including Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Loki, Venom, and the Hulk.

With the inclusion of the Fantastic Four, the first season of the game’s live service will feature 37 playable characters. Depending on how successful the game is, NetEase is looking to move forward with a whole lot more. Players can expect many more characters to join the roster in future updates due to the expansive and rich source material the Marvel Universe provides. The final update, however, is the one that follows the avatar and will send it to sleep until future waves of updates where some of the favorites Deadpool, Captain Marvel, Daredevil, and Green Goblin can potentially be added.

Additionally, heroes like Drax, Gamora, Nebula, and characters such as Ghost Rider, Luke Cage, and Vision could be on the horizon. With a game universe built over 80 years, the addition of the Fantastic Four is just the beginning of what could be a long list of upcoming heroes and villains. Marvel Rivals is quickly shaping up to be a must-play title for Marvel fans looking for an action-packed, hero-focused experience.
