Audible, a leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling, today announced the release of the Hindi Audible Original podcast series Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye. Following on from the successful first instalment in the series, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Star-Lord, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye features an extraordinary cast, including Jaideep Ahlawat, Prajakta Koli, and Jennifer Winget, among others, and has been released exclusively on Audible.

Thirty years ago, the villains of the world rose up and killed all the heroes. Well, all the heroes that mattered. The sole survivor of the Avengers, Hawkeye is now a sideshow freak re-living the worst day of his life for paying audiences. He’s surly, broken, and losing his sight, but there’s still that fire in him to be a hero, to avenge his friends. And he’s ready to do what needs to be done: killing every last person responsible for the deaths of those he loved the most.
Marvel’s Wastelanders, a six-season series, is the first collaboration between Audible and Marvel Entertainment and is being released simultaneously across Audible services in French, German, Hindi, Italian, and Japanese. Each local-language production is a richly designed, fully immersive audio entertainment experience with its own cast of A-list talent. In addition, Marvel’s Wastelanders; Hawkeye, joins Audible’s growing catalogue of Originals that Audible members can listen to in immersive spatial audio with Dolby Atmos at no additional cost.
Further details on premiere dates for subsequent instalments in the Marvel’s Wastelanders series, which include Black Widow, Wolverine, Doom, and Marvel’s Wastelanders, will be released at a later date. The six-season audio epic originally launched as an English-language series in June 2021.
The English-language version of Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye was written by J. Holtham (Supergirl, Jessica Jones), directed by Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown), with sound design by One Thousand Birds and an original score by James Harrison Monaco and Jerome Ellis.
Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye will be available to all listeners for unlimited listening on Audible.in, beginning on 29 September 2023.
