“Marry Me”: The trailer of the rom-com film of Jennifer Lopez has been dropped

Universal Pictures has recently dropped the trailer of Jennifer Lopez’s “Marry Me”. It is a romantic comedy that follows Lopez as Kat and also a music superstar who has married a  complete stranger at the time of the concert after she has found out that her boyfriend Bastian is cheating on her.

The trailer also reveals the pair that is seemingly falling in love and although the arrangement is just only supposed to be the last for the three months.

The teaser that Lopez has shared with all of the fans on Instagram contains the actress who is singing a track called “On My Way” with the caption reading, “Every heartbreak was a yellow brick road. There are also two other songs that are filmed “Pa Ti”, and “Lonely” that Lopez and Maluma have recorded jointly for the soundtrack of the film.

This film was directed by Kay Coiuro, whose credits add “It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia” and Netflix’s “Dead to Me”. The script revolves around the graphic novel by Bobby Crosby, who had written by John-Roger, Tami Sagher, and Harper Dil.

The first look has been showing J. Lo as the superstar Katalina “Kat” Valdez, who has been engaged with the equally successful Bastian, that has been played by Colombian crooner. In the clip, we have seen Kat and her new love navigate their tornado of romance.

Maluma has said in an interview, “It’s been an amazing month, actually . I’ve been here in New York for two or three weeks shooting the movie with Jennifer”.

Marry Me' Marks Jennifer Lopez's Return to Rom-Coms for the First Time  Since 2012

In this film, we will see Sarah Silverman, Jameela Jamil, and Jimmy Fallon.

This film will release on 11th February 2021.
