Marcus Rashford is considering his future at Manchester United, after a long run out of the starting lineup. The United academy graduate showed immense potential during the initial years in the team. But, his progress has been halted due to a lack of opportunities.

Marcus Rashford debating Manchester United exit
The England international wants to be in consideration for the squad when the World Cup arrives at the end of the year. This would require regular playing time, which he isn’t receiving just yet. While he is expected to remain professional with the club, he will decide his future in the coming weeks and months.
The player’s contract expires in the 2023 season, and the club has an option to extend it for another year. With the likes of Ronaldo, Cavani, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga and Jesse Lingard all trying to start in attack, there is a lot of competition for limited spots.
But, a number of these players, such as Lingard and Cavani, will be leaving the club at the end of the season. This would open up room for more playing time for Marcus Rashford next season. However, his final decision could still be to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
