The 35-year-old has spent 12 years with Dortmund since returning from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012. Before that, he was a part of their academy for nine years between 1995 and 2004.
Reus made 429 appearances for Borussia Dortmund during his career, while scoring 170 goals and provided 131 assists. Although several high profile teammates such as Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze, Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham made big money moves to other clubs, he stayed loyal to his boyhood club in spite of lucrative offers.
But now, he has finally said goodbye to the club of his life and is set to sign a contract till December 2025 with the option to extend for another season with LA Galaxy in the coming days.
