Barcelona youngster Marc Guiu scored the match-winning goal against Athletic Bilbao, 33 seconds after coming off the bench for his debut. Guiu is yet another La Masia graduate to impress on his debut, putting the world on notice this year.Â
The 17-year-old scored with his first touch of the ball after coming off the bench, helping the club earn all three points. He joins the likes of Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez to break into the first team this season, with the club currently suffering an injury crisis.

“I can’t believe it,” he told reporters. “I am enjoying the moment. I didn’t imagine this. I have been working my whole life for it, taking advantage of every opportunity and… I won’t sleep tonight.
“I have dreamt of this many times, almost every night. I am so proud. It all happened really quickly, I hardly had a chance to think about it. It was intuition.”
Marc Guiu joined the La Masia academy at the age of 13, and has earned a call-up to the Spanish U17 national team as well. The 17-year-old became the youngest player to score on his debut for Barcelona in their history.
Now, the youngster will represent Spain at the U-17 World Cup which will see him miss the upcoming month of action for his club.
