Manchester United have finalised a deal to sign Manuel Ugarte from PSG. The player will make the move on a permanent transfer rather than a loan with the obligation to buy as was previously reported.
The Premier League club will pay a sum worth €50 million upfront plus €10 million in add-ons. As a result, PSG could make back all the money they spent on signing the Uruguayan last summer from Sporting CP.

The midfielder was always clear about his desire to join United this summer. And now, he finally has his dream transfer lined up. The medical tests have been scheduled for the coming days, and Ugarte’s arrival will be made official once the formalities are all complete.
The 23-year-old was always the priority for Manchester United as they believe his playing style is perfectly suited to their team. As a result, it will be an incredible way to end the transfer window business for United if they can bring in their top target to reinforce their midfield.
PSG have already signed Joao Neves from Benfica to replace Ugarte. On the other hand, United are set to offload Scott McTominay and Hannibal Mejbri to make way for their new arrival.
