Manchester United are pushing to sign Antony from Ajax. The winger’s camp wants the move to Old Trafford, and wants the Dutch champions to at least listen to the offer that is being made for the player.

Ajax have set an €80 million price tag for the Brazilian, which would make him one of their top sales in recent years. Former manager Erik Ten Hag labelled him an irreplaceable member of the team, and by the looks of things, the club is aware of it and want to be compensated rightfully in case he leaves this summer.

Manchester United want to sign Antony and De Jong

New contacts will take place soon for Antony. Player’s camp wants Ajax to consider potential proposals already this summer, as reported last week. Ajax insist they want €80m. 🔴 #MUFC

The two clubs are yet to formally open dialogue about the move for Antony. But, United are progressing in their mission to sign Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona.

As per the latest update, they have agreed a verbal €65 million bid for the Dutch international. Add-ons would see the final transfer amount rise up to €85 million, and it is a work in progress as of right now. Barcelona were previously not willing to listen to any offers for the midfielder, but their stance has since changed due to their financial issues. So, an agreement between the two sides seems much more realistic now.

Erik Ten Hag is keen to reunite with the midfielder at Old Trafford, and if everything goes positively, Manchester United will be able to have a massive new signing for the summer.
