Manchester United are keen to get rid of the fringe players on their payroll, much like the rest of the Premier League clubs owing to the difficult financial situation right now. Marcos Rojo is one of the names that could be on the move very soon.

The player has agreed a verbal deal with Argentinian club Boca Juniors that would see him return to his homeland, according to the Daily Mail. However, in continuum with the words of Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio on the Here We Go podcast on Patreon, Boca have not yet submitted an official bid for Rojo.

The Argentinian club are not willing to pay a transfer fee for the defender, and either one of two conclusions has to happen. The first involves the club terminating Rojo’s contract early so that he can leave for his homeland. Whereas the other involves the Argentinian sitting on the bench, and on United’s payroll for another six months, before his contract expires in June, and he leaves as a free agent.

Elsewhere, Moises Caicedo is still on Manchester United’s radar. The club have the option of signing him, but are currently not in advanced negotiations with anybody for the teeanger.

Moreover, the Red Devils have successfully completed the signing of Amad Diallo from Atalanta, as announced by them on their official social media accounts, as well as their website. Diallo becomes the first player to be signed under the post Brexit rules of England.
