Erik Ten Hag teases Ajax players could follow him to Manchester United
Manchester United will be needing a centre-forward and a defensive midfielder for sure this summer. They will be losing Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Edinson Cavani for free at the end of the season.
While United have not been linked with any such players from Ajax, they are interested in signing Darwin Nunez from Benfica. Brazilian winger Antony from Ajax could be one of the players that makes the move to Old Trafford, as a replacement for Jesse Lingard, who will also be leaving the club.
While the Dutchman has left the door open for talent from Ajax to follow him to Manchester, he can work with several top talents now considering United’s purchasing power. It now remains to be seen who the new manager will choose to work with when he takes his spot on the bench.
