Manchester United is considering a new offer worth £9m a year for their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
As per the recent report, Manchester United has decided to offer their gaffer a new contract. The Mirror reported that an agreement is already in place for him to receive a new £9m-a-year deal, and talks are planned to sort out the finer details.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of Manchester United in December 2018 after Jose Mourinho was sacked. At that time, he came as an interim manager till the end of the season. But his excellent work as an interim manager impressed the club officials, and they just felt they had to give him the job.
Since then, he has faced many ups and downs in his journey. There have been several occasions where everyone expected him to get sacked. But the situation seems to be calm now.
Manchester United is now in the second position in the Premier League table. It is tough to claim the title this season as they are 17 points behind the leader’s Manchester City. But the Red Devils can still win FA Cup and UEFA Europa League. They should qualify for the Champions League as well.
