Manchester United are interested in signing Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice this summer. The Premier League club sent scouts to watch him in the game between Nice and Rennes recently. Todibo was able to contribute to a 2-1 win for his side, as scouts made a report on his profile.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old could make a move to a top club this summer for around €45 million. His performances have been top-notch in Ligue 1, and he could be a valuable addition to any club that he joins.

Jean-Clair Todibo on the radar of top European clubs for summer move

Todibo was with Barcelona following his move from Toulouse in 2019. However, he moved to Schalke on loan shortly after before joining Benfica on another loan spell. In January 2021, he made the move to Nice with the option to sign him for the long-term.

Nice eventually signed him permanently for €8.5 million towards the end of his loan spell. And now, they could make a sizable profit if they get a suitable offer for him.

Barcelona were unable to get the best out of Jean-Clair Todibo when he was at the club. But, they could still make €9 million from a transfer fee of around €45 million, since they have a sell-on clause in his contract with Nice. The cash injection will certainly help with registering their existing players, and could help them sign new ones too.
