Manchester United have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace for the sale of Dean Henderson. The goalkeeper was keen on getting regular playing time, and with United signing Andre Onana as their new first-choice, it was unlikely that he would be getting enough time on the pitch.
Now, the player has moved on from United completely after spending a couple of seasons on loan with Sheffield United and then Nottingham Forest. He will be making the move to Palace for a fee worth £20 million plus add-ons. The medical test has been scheduled for the goalkeeper and will be completed soon to finalise the transfer.
Manchester United replace Dean Henderson with Altay Bayindir
The Turkish goalkeeper will be joining United in the coming days, now that they have reached an agreement with Fenerbahce for a deal worth €7 million. Bayindir is already in Manchester and will be officially presented as a new signing for the club soon.
Manchester United are also looking to bolster their defence and have asked about Marc Cucurella of Chelsea. The Spaniard is behind Ben Chilwell in the pecking order at Chelsea and could receive even less game time due to the presence of Ian Maatsen at the club.
The injury to Luke Shaw has led to United asking for a loan deal for the Spaniard. And it remains to be seen whether Chelsea will let the most expensive left-back of all-time leave on a loan deal to get more playing time.
