[Manchester United](https://technosports.co.in/cristiano-ronaldo-speaks-out-on-bad-united-spl/) remain in the bidding process for the sale of the club. Only Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Ineos owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe have made themselves known to the public so far.

The final deadline for the second bids have been extended, and both parties will [use this time to fine tune their bids.](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1638672932284116992?s=20) There is a feeling that the Glazers are extending the deadline to inflate the selling price, and could turn away from the sale at the final stages. However, both the Qatari entourage and Ratcliffe remain determined to enter the final stages of the bidding process.

According to some reports, up to eight bidders have emerged to take over the club at this stage. The amounts of the bids  will not be made public due to an NDA signed by all parties. But, it is expected that the bidding process will take time.

An immediate response is not expected, and the club will take time to evaluate all offers. Sheikh Jassim remains convinced that their offer is the best suited, owing to their detailed plans to invest in the club. On the other hand, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has also maintained that he wants to bring the club back to their former glory.

However, there must be a winning bid first, which is expected to be upwards of £6 billion.
