Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 700th club goal to help Manchester United to a 2-1 win over Everton. The visitors were able to come back from 1-0 down to take all three points on the road and get their Premier League campaign back on track after losing to Manchester City.

Anthony Martial had to make way for Ronaldo due to injury in the first half. The Frenchman has been struggling with fitness issues recently. And despite being given a starting spot last night, he was unable to play through the majority of the game.

Alex Iwobi helped the Toffees take the lead only five minutes into the game. The Nigerian’s effort from long range beat David De Gea, after Casemiro lost the ball in midfield.

However, Antony would become the first Manchester United player in history to score in his first three games for the club to equalise. The winger scored a signature goal with his left foot to guide his side back into the game, showing why the club paid all that money for him.

Shortly before half time, Casemiro played in his former Real Madrid teammate, Ronaldo, to take the lead. The Portugal captain made no mistake on the counter, and scored his first Premier League goal of the season.

Everton would come mighty close to the back of the net in the second half. But despite setting up a tense finish, Manchester United were able to hold on to their goal advantage and took all three points from their trip.
