Manchester City have been the most successful team in the Premier League since the arrival of Pep Guardiola. The team has scored 500 goals since the Spaniard took charge of the club. Here are the players that have the most number of goals under Guardiola.

Manchester City’s highest scorers under Pep Guardiola

Riyad Mahrez (29)

The Algerian forward is among the most skilled players in the Manchester City squad. Since arriving from Leicester City following their title-winning campaign, the player has been a constant in Guardiola’s team and has scored 29 times under the manager.

Kevin De Bruyne has been named the PFA Player of the Year for two years in a row. He is recognised as one of the best midfielders in the world, and is the highest scoring midfielder under Pep Guardiola. The Belgian has 37 goals to his name and has matched Thierry Henry’s record of the most assists in one Premier League campaign as well.

Gabriel Jesus (52)

For all the important goals that the number 9 scores, Gabriel Jesus is among the most underrated players in the Manchester City line-up. For some, it would come as a surprise to see the Brazilian in the list, but he has scored 52 goals since Guardiola took charge of the club.

Raheem Sterling (76)

Raheem Sterling recently scored his 100th Premier League goal, converting a penalty against Wolves. 76 of those goals have come under the Spaniard, and with his recent performances, Raheem Sterling has been looking as an undroppable figure all over again.

Sergio Agüero (82)

King Kun.

Everyone at Manchester City would like to take this opportunity to thank @aguerosergiokun for his incredible contribution to our success over the last decade and wish him well in his retirement 💙 pic.twitter.com/AgMWXZtPZ8

Sergio Aguero is Manchester City’s highest ever goalscorer, and has netted 82 times under Pep Guardiola. Unfortunately, he only recently retired from football due to cardiac arrhythmia. Pep Guardiola was there to attend his farewell ceremony organized by Barcelona. With 260 goals in 390 games for Manchester City, the Argentinian forward is an undisputed club and Premier League legend, and will continue to be talked about for years to come.
