Manchester City along with Puma have announced their 2020-21 season away kit and retains their black theme and indeed makes it look even better. Instead of a pale black front, Puma has designed the front part of the Away jersey with a striking all-over pattern inspired by Castlefield and the Bridgewater canal. This symbolizes Manchester’s past, present, and future.
This is honestly a unique concept and great to see, Man City has taken the historic part of the city symbolizing the Castlefield’s history. It was once been the terminus of both the world’s first industrial canal, the Bridgewater canal, and the first inter-city railway. Now, the place has been transformed into one of the city’s most vibrant art and music hubs
So, on the black background, the Manchester City Away shirt features an all-over pattern printed tone on tone, influenced by the structures and patterns of Castlefield and the Bridgewater canal in dark blue and black, with copper detailing. The little details on the jersey look awesome and the copper detailing is another new concept which enhances the beauty of the kit.
