Manchester City make English football history by winning 15 consecutive matches

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City wasn’t even in the title race last season after winning the Premier League title in the previous seasons. Many thought that it was a one-season fall and City would come back stronger this season.

At the start of this season, City looked like their old self from the last season and went through a challenging phase. It seemed the top four places were even out of reach for them at one point of time, and they would have to battle for the Europa League places.

But Pep Guardiola has once again brought the very best of this Manchester City squad. Since drawing against West Brom on 15th December, Pep Guardiola’s side has now won 15 consecutive games across three different competitions.

Manchester City has now made Enligh football history. Their current run of 15 consecutive wins in all competitions is the longest in English football history by a top-flight side

Manchester City’s latest win came against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium. They won by a 3-1 scoreline despite making seven changes to their starting line-up.

From fighting for a European place at the start of the league, Pep Guardiola’s City is now at the top of the table. They have also beaten defending Premier League champions Liverpool by a 4-1 margin.

Manchester City is back at their very best and may even make it a one-horse race from now on, considering their red hot form!
