Manchester City extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League with a 2-2 draw against title rivals Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium. John Stones scored in the eighth minute of injury time to level things up and ensure that the Gunners only left with a point.
Arsenal defended with ten men for the entirety of the second half. The North London club barely made their way out of their own half, as all the attacking was done by the hosts. David Raya did incredibly well to keep the Sky Blues out, but was ultimately beaten for the second time at the death.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring by netting his 100th goal for Manchester City early in the first half. However, the Norwegian was barely visible for the rest of the game, with the striker tightly marked for the entirety of the second half.
Leandro Trossard was the man sent off right at the end of the first half for a second yellow. The winger’s decision making left fans puzzled as he committed a rash foul to get himself sent off.
Gabriel found the back of the net in a second consecutive week to give Arsenal the lead. However, in spite of their best attempts, they simply weren’t able to end City’s unbeaten run in the league, which is close to standing strong for a year come December.
