Fans hoping for more of So Ji Sub’s action-packed dad-on-a-mission drama can breathe easy. **“Agent Kim Reactivated”** has just concluded its record-breaking run on SBS — and a Season 2 is already being discussed behind the scenes.

## What We Know So Far on Agent Kim Reactivated?

The production company confirmed to press that, thanks to overwhelming love and support, the show is positively in talks for a second season. They were careful to note that since Season 1 just wrapped, a detailed schedule hasn’t been finalized yet, promising updates as soon as anything is confirmed. This isn’t the first hint of a sequel either — SBS itself had previously teased the possibility given the drama’s growing popularity.

## Why a Sequel Makes Sense

Few dramas close out their run still climbing in the ratings, and “Agent Kim Reactivated” did exactly that. With a compelling lead in So Ji Sub and a story built around family, loyalty, and danger, the show has plenty of runway left to explore — making a Season 2 a natural next step for SBS.

So Ji Sub has built a long, celebrated career across Korean film and television — you can read more about his filmography on [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/So_Ji-sub).
