The 21-year-old joined the Sky Blues from Fluminense in 2021 for a fee worth €10 million. A year later, he was loaned out to Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira before being loaned out to Bahia in Brazil for 2023.
Kayky has been nursing an injury to his knee ligament, and is expected to return to action soon. The move to Sparta will give him more exposure to the level of football in a top European league, and it’ll be interesting to see if he can adapt to his new surroundings.
