Manchester United have agreed a deal with Guidars FC for the signing of Sekou Kone in a deal worth £1 million. The transfer fee could rise up owing to the inclusion of several performance-based add-ons as part of the agreement.
Medical tests for the defensive midfielder have been scheduled for next week. Kone will be officially announced as a new player for the Red Devils after he completes the formalities. The 18-year-old is considered an investment for the future, given his performances so far.

The 2006-born midfielder has represented Mali’s U17 team 12 times so far, and is an exciting prospect in midfield. Not only is he capable of winning the ball back, but he is also incredible with the ball at his feet.
He likes carrying the ball by using his dribbling skills, in what could be a huge addition to Erik Ten Hag’s side.
Manchester United have already agreed a deal for Manuel Ugarte from PSG. And with Sekou Kone also joining the club, they could be set in defensive midfield for the next decade if both signings work out.
