The All New Mahindra XUV3XO

Anticipated to bring competition to the sub-4-meter SUV market segment, the 2024 Mahindra XUV3XO will be up against competitors like Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. Notable upgrades to its design at the rear end have been highlighted.

The vehicle features an updated design that seems to draw inspiration from the Mahindra BEV lineup. Standout elements include a revamped bumper, LED tail lights with L-shaped turn signals, positioned reflectors, new two-tone alloy wheels, a chrome-accented bumper-mounted license plate holder, and a revised trunk lid. Other exterior enhancements include a wiper and washer system, spoiler, high-mounted brake lights, roof rails, and an antenna.

While the focus has been on improvements so far; premium upgrades are also expected for the interior cabin with several innovative features that are first in class. These include updates to the dashboard and a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity, for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Anticipated upgrades, for the inside of the vehicle may consist of updated seat coverings, ambient lighting, front seats with ventilation, a charging pad for phones a digital display for instruments, and an AdrenoX user interface that supports over-the-air updates.

There are expectations of improved safety features with reports indicating the inclusion of a 360-degree camera system and an advanced driver assistance module in leaked images. Additionally, a panoramic sunroof is rumored to be introduced for the time in this category.

The 2024 Mahindra XUV3XO Facelift is projected to retain the same engine options as its predecessor, encompassing a 1.2-liter turbo petrol unit, a 1.2-liter turbo petrol GDI unit, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Transmission options are expected to remain unchanged, offering a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic, with rumors suggesting a potential switch to an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic torque converter unit instead of the current 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

With the launch imminent, pricing for the Mahindra XUV3XO will be disclosed closer to the launch date. The numerous updates are anticipated to position it in a higher price bracket compared to the current model.
