Most star kids enter films through big launches. Gautam chose theatre. In June 2024, **Mahesh Babu’s son** made his stage debut in London with the play *Romeo Juliet & ETC* — his proud parents and sister Sitara cheering from the audience. It wasn’t a shortcut. It was a statement.

Currently enrolled in a **4-year integrated drama course at [New York University](https://www.nyu.edu)**, Gautam is building his craft the old-fashioned way — with discipline, study, and stage experience. His sister Sitara confirmed his acting training in an interview with [iDream Media](https://www.youtube.com/@iDreamMediaOfficial), adding a personal touch to what the family clearly treats as a serious career path.

## More Than Just a Famous Face

What sets Gautam apart isn’t just his lineage — it’s his character. He’s participated in tree plantation drives, spent time with critically ill patients in hospitals, and actively celebrates traditional festivals at home. He shares a hilariously close bond with sister Sitara, and his Instagram — though low-profile — reflects a grounded young man who knows exactly who he is.

He already made a cameo in Mahesh Babu’s thriller *1: Nenokkadine*, playing the childhood version of his father’s character. Fitting, because in many ways, Gautam seems to be writing his own version of the same story — but entirely on his own terms.
