Madrid derby confirmed in Copa del Rey Round of 16: Streaming, schedule and more confirmed

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will face each other in the Copa del Rey Round of 16, setting up a third Madrid derby in the coming month. And after edging past Barbastro 3-2 in the Round of 32, Barcelona have earned themselves a draw against Unionistas of the fourth division. 

The eight matches of this round will be played between January 17-19, and will be one-legged fixtures. Here are all the matches that will be played in the Copa del Rey Round of 16:

• Girona v Rayo Vallecano
• Valencia v Celta Vigo
• Athletic Bilbao v Alaves
• Tenerife v Mallorca
• Getafe v Sevilla
• Osasuna v Real Sociedad

The Spanish Cup matches will not be telecasted on any Live TV channel. The only way fans can legally watch the matches is by streaming them through the Fancode App. 

Last season, Real Madrid emerged as the champions of the tournament for the 20th time. To defend their title, they will have to face one of their biggest rivals to get to the quarter finals. 

On the other hand, Barcelona have a favourable draw after facing a fourth division side. However, after struggling against Barbastro, questions will be asked about whether we could see a shocking result in this round. 

Girona could also emerge as a surprise contender after their run in LaLiga, but they have been drawn against Rayo Vallecano.
