Madden NFL 22 Coming With Few Major Improvements, EA Reveals This Year’s Release

EA is now totally settled into the PS5 and Xbox Series X, indicating the team to start weaving few more ambitious changes into Madden 22. Mainly you can say home-field advantage, a feature that has been ignored in the past years. Madden has typically been able to give the feel and look of a stadium like Seattle’s Lumen Field, where ear-shattering massive crowd noise makes it mostly impossible for a quarterback to even hear themselves think.

Now, in Madden 22, that will be changed; away teams will be forced to play notoriously difficult stadiums like Lumen Field, will see their players wave dangerously, having few of their receiver buttons hidden.

The gameplay producer of Madden NFL 22, Clint Oldenburg said, “Not a regular-season game, not a playoff game. When I was at the line of scrimmage, I couldn’t hear anything. All I could hear was the crowd.”

It seems that a Homefield’s challenge is not gonna be in ramped-up volume and roaring crowds. Teams that are playing Broncos a mile above the sea level will face a harder time regaining stamina, for example.

Oldenburg said, “It’s not so powerful that you’re going to need them to be successful. They’re just little boosts and penalties here and there to make you feel emotionally connected to that environment.”

Outside of home-field advantage, here are some other improvements that came out during the reveal of Madden 22.

  • A coaching tree is being included.
  • Later, the scouting will be updated.
  • The franchise will be featured more than 35 new scenarios.
  • Finally, the super bowl presentation will be different.
  • Superfans will be in the stadium.
  • Halftime adjustment will add some realism to the flow of the game.
  • The face of the Franchise is back.
  • The PS4 and Xbox One versions are also getting updates.

Madden 22 is going to be released on August 22 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia. You can place your pre-order on August 17.
