MacBook Air 15-inch, Mac Studio and Mac Pro pre-orders and Prices in India

Apple revealed a new MacBook Air 15-inch Display model that is powered by the company’s M2 CPU. According to Apple, it has an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU that can perform up to 12 times quicker than the fastest Intel-powered MacBook. At the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple also unveiled new Mac Studio and Mac Pro models. M2, M2 Pro, M2 Max, and a powerful new M2 Ultra chip power these PCs.

The MacBook Air 15-inch display model is the world’s thinnest laptop

The MacBook Air 15-inch Display model has a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with a brightness of up to 500 nits. According to Apple, it is the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop, measuring only 11.5mm. It has MagSafe charging, two Thunderbolt ports for connecting accessories, and a 3.5mm headphone socket, as well as support for up to a 6K external display.

The MacBook Air 15-inch Display model is equipped with an 8-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. A 1080p webcam and a three-mic array are also included for smoother voice calls. The laptop also has six speakers and is powered by macOS Ventura.

The new M2 Max SoC in the Mac Studio (2023) is touted to be up to 50% quicker than the previous generation Studio with an M1 Max, and up to three times faster than the prior generation Studio with an M1 Max.

The Mac Studio (2023) supports 8K resolution and 240Hz framerates thanks to higher-bandwidth HDMI. Mac Studio supports up to six Pro Display XDRs with the M2 Ultra. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, four Thunderbolt 4 connections, a 10Gbps Ethernet port, and two USB Type-A ports are also included.

The Mac Pro (2023) appears unchanged, but Apple has finally replaced the Intel Xeon CPUs with an M2 Ultra SoC. When compared to the Intel Mac Pro, this offers you a 24-core CPU, up to a 76-core GPU, and twice the memory and SSD storage. It can also be equipped with up to 192GB of memory and 800GBps of unified memory bandwidth.

For faster video rendering, each Mac Pro (2023) is believed to have the power of seven Afterburner cards. The Mac Pro (2023) has seven PCle expansion slots and can accommodate up to six Pro Display XDRs, as well as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The new MacBook Air 15-inch Display model is priced at Rs. 1,34,900 in India and comes in Midnight, Silver, Space Grey, and Starlight colour variants. The Mac Studio (2023) costs Rs. 2,09,900, while the Mac Pro with tower and rack enclosures costs Rs. 7,29,900 and Rs. 7,79,900, respectively. It can be pre-ordered from Apple Store and will start shipping starting June 13th 2023.
