In a thrilling Final at the Eden Gardens, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers prevailed over the Murshidabad Kueens by 5 runs to lift the inaugural women’s title of the Bengal Pro T20 League. Captain Mita Paul scored 24 runs but the main batting knock came from Ipsita Mondal who scored 37 runs off 32 deliveries. With 13 runs required in the last over, Mamata Kisku got the wicket of Adrija in the first ball. With five runs coming in the next two balls, Priyanka had the onus to take Murshidabad over the line. But Kisku kept her cool and got the prized wicket of Priyanka in the penultimate delivery as Kolkata won the match by 5 runs.
