East Bengal are set to bolster their attack with experienced Polish striker **Lukasz Zwoliński**, with a one-year agreement already in place between both parties. The move is now awaiting the final formality — his visa — before the 33-year-old completes medicals in Kolkata to officially seal the transfer.

## Who Is Lukasz Zwoliński?

Born in Szczecin, [Zwoliński](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lukasz_Zwolinski) has spent the majority of his career in Poland’s top flight, representing clubs including Lechia Gdańsk, Raków Częstochowa, and Wisła Kraków. He also gained European experience with Croatia’s HNK Gorica before a spell with Turkish side Sakaryaspor, where he featured 25 times last season.

After leaving Sakaryaspor in April following their relegation, Zwoliński trained individually with boyhood club Pogoń Szczecin while remaining a free agent — until East Bengal came calling with an unexpected offer from Asia.

## Reuniting With a Familiar Face

Interestingly, Zwoliński won’t be walking into an unfamiliar dressing room entirely. East Bengal’s squad features Spanish midfielder Dani Ramirez, a player well known to followers of Polish football from his time at Lech Poznań — giving the new arrival at least one recognisable face to lean on during his transition to Indian football.

## What’s Left to Finalise

While personal terms are settled, the deal hinges on routine paperwork — visa processing followed by mandatory medical tests in Kolkata. Once cleared, Zwoliński will become East Bengal’s latest foreign recruit as the club builds its squad for the season ahead.

## Why It Matters

A proven goal-scorer with Ekstraklasa pedigree, Zwoliński’s arrival adds firepower and experience to East Bengal’s frontline — a boost that could prove crucial across their domestic campaign.
