The player is likely to sign a one-year contract with the option for a further year. An official confirmation has not been made by Chennaiyin FC yet, and will probably be made closer to the start of the new season.
Brambilla has played 21 games in the league this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists. In the relegation round, he scored five goals and provided four assists in 13 games.
The 29-year-old has played all across Europe, featuring in countries like Greece, Bulgaria, Finland and Cyprus. With his move to the ISL, it remains to be seen whether he can adjust to the conditions and the style of play under Coyle. But on paper, it seems like a great signing for the Machans once again.
