Fiorentina Jovic

Fiorentina are interested in signing Luka Jovic on a loan deal from Real Madrid. The Serie A club is in negotiations with Los Blancos for the wantaway striker, who has failed to make a consistent impact during his time at the club. Following his loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, he is now seemingly set to go to Italy for the 22/23 season.

The two clubs are proposing an arrangement which will see his salary worth €6 million halved between them. Once the final details are sorted out for the loan move, it will be made official.

Fiorentina have had to let go of Federico Chiesa permanently this summer, and have received €40 million for his sale. They also sold Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus for €75 million, which has resulted in a big cash influx even though they haven’t been able to keep hold of their star players.

Luka Jovic could arrive in Fiorentina as soon as next week to complete his medical and finalise the loan move.

As a result, they can now invest in talent that will help bolster their squad. Leicester City’s Dennis Praet is also one of the names on the list for La Viola. They want to sign him on a loan deal with the option to buy, or a permanent deal altogether. Negotiations are set to be carried out in the coming days for the transfer.
