Former Barca manager Luis Enrique has spoken about his player Andres Iniesta during a talk an Instagram Live session during the lockdown. The man who lifted the Champions League trophy for Barcelona spoke about how he thinks Iniesta is just like Harry Potter.
The former Barcelona manager talked well about the club legend and also praised to striker Luis Suarez too. Iniesta was one of the best center midfielders of the era and no one can question his contribution to the club as well as to his country Spain. Not to forget Enrique was the Spanish football manager as well.
”He [Iniesta] is Harry Potter. When you see him, you just think: how can he know which side the rival is going to come from and turn to the other. He is a player who does things that only the chosen ones can do,” he said.
”I have not seen another nine like him [Suarez]. In addition to being a scorer, he knows how to play and associate, and he has that aggressive warrior character. He makes life impossible for the forwards.”
Oftenly called Lucho at Barcelona, he also spoke about what it was like training with Ronaldinho at Barcelona: “We looked at him and realized that we were making a fool of ourselves.”
